An 18th century mahogany 8-day long cased clock, 12" brass and silvered arched topped dial signed Henton Brown of London, brass movement striking on a bell, overall height 2.14 metres.
Estimate £300 - £500Sold for £150
This clock has come from a local deceased estate where it has probably been situated for the last 50-80 years, we think the movement is original to the face, which are both in good original and untouched condition, but the seat board is raised up on blocks suggesting that it is not original to the case, which has also been shortened at the base the bell is currently detached.
