The mouth piece section: is marked Rudall and Rose London, with no serial number, no obvious splits or damage, just obvious general signs of wear.
The 2nd section: is marked Rudall Carte & Company London, with a crown mark, no obvious splits, some woven string around the sleeve (probably to make a slightly tighter fit), obvious signs of wear, surface marks and scratches.
The 3rd section: is marked Rudall and Rose No.15 Pizza Covent Garden London 3089? (the last 2 digits are quite worn and are difficult to read), body has no splits or obvious damage, visible signs of surface scratches and wear, both sleeves are bound with 1 end having a chip underneath the binding, binding is obviously for a better fit.
The headpiece: is marked Rudall and Rose London, slightly worn, the rotating crown with logo operates quite smoothly and is quite firm to the turn and a little loose with a few minor dents, the extended section measures 3cm approximately. The short section with the stamp has 4 visible splits through it, and the end section has 2 splits through it both run from each end up to the last finger hole, obvious signs of use including surface scratches and marks and wear.
Overall length is approx. 66cm. Flute has no case. Overall is in used condition and the joining sections are all fairly loose.
