Abbey Road sign for sale

This original enamel sign from Abbey Road is to be sold at our 21 May antique sale.
It was purchased from the department of works in 1970 for £1, and has remained in the family ever since.
The sign would certainly have been in use at the time the Beatles were recording at Abbey Road.
A similar sign was sold at auction in London last year for around £11,000.
This sign has an estimate of £1500-2000. SOLD on 21 May for £3200.
